Nassau Community College is in Garden City, NY. That’s on Long Island but close to Queens. You could be hearing accents from this area, but like anyone who grows up in an area with “accents”, we don’t hear it because we are so accustomed to it.

I made it through the first 14 week semester without having to crack the textbook. I was a paramedic long ago. Most of the material is extremely easy to grasp and apply. For most of it, it was a rehash of my paramedic career. My instructor was quite upset about my study habits. She actually brought my study habits during lecture. So what did she do; she instructs the teaching assistant (MSN Candidate) to sit directly behind me during exams to catch me cheating. What a waste of resources!!

Yea, i gotta agree with Matt on this one. Its as if i watched a video on cooking and told you my friend was beaten to death be a celery stick. Dosent quite belong here, but im sure your attourneys and counselors could tell you that as well.

I beleive the situation, but it is justa strange comment for this particular video. Unless you think this is the experience of a typical student nurse, which I don’t this is the case. Regardless, I feel bad for your situation, but the post is very random. It’s like if I saw a video about puppies and wrote a post that I had my leg bitten off by a Pit Bull. Random comments.

What is so weird about it? An MSN decides decides she wants her way with me. Is she stupid for risking everything for something so foolish? My attorney thinks so!! Life is a big gamble. Some people take risks while others play more conservatively. If you think this is too far out there then you are living in a fake world. There are many, many sick people in this world. I just lucked out by finding one. As a former paramedic, I have seen many nurses. Most were pros. Some were just evil!!!!

I was in my first year when my clinical instructor (female) decided to sexually assault me. She continually stated that I did not deserve to be in the program. Power corrupts. I do not know what to do. I worked so hard to get into the program. I think I will report her. Is this the best thing to do? At this time I am deciding to drop. I want to kill that bitch!!!!!

I love this video. I’m a student nurse in England, mental health branch. I’m just at the end of my very first placement on elderly mental health. Has been a wonderful experience… back to Uni in january! Sooo much studying, BUT really interesting stuff too. I love mental health branch. You’re right about making friends… our cohort are a gr8 bunch of ppl and I reckon we’ll mostly stay in touch. Good luck to all of us & happy christmas!

I remember studying the renin angiotensin cycle in lecture in my training. The response in the lecture theatre was just like that.
